Hard as it is to believe, it’s time for the final Monthly Picks post of 2023! As always, we’re taking a look at the recently released and upcoming audiobooks for the month (with a few late November titles thrown in for good measure!) – and hope that you’ll find something here to interest you. The Gals thank you for your company throughout the last year, and look forward to spending time with you again in the next one! Merry Christmas!
Where All Paths Meet by Gregory Ashe
Narrated by Greg Tremblay
Jack Moreno and Holloway Holmes are back – although after the cliffhanger at the end of The Old Wheel, can things between them ever be the same? But there’s no time to ponder that as our heroes quickly find themselves tangled up in something dark and dangerous and going up against powerful people who will stop at nothing to prevent them from finding and revealing the truth. This has been a wonderful series – the relationship between these two young men is beautifully tender and romantic, the mysteries are twistedly clever, and Greg Tremblay’s narration is simply outstanding. I loved the book and am sure I’ll love it all over again in audio. – Caz
Sharing the Miracle by Kristen Ashley
Narrated by Stella Bloom & Lance Greenfield
This is a novella follow up to Fighting the Pull. Of course I pre-ordered it. – Kaetrin
Same Time Next Year by Tessa Bailey
Narrated by Carmen Vine & William LeRoy
This audio novella came for free because I bought the ebook. Whispersync is my friend! Sure to be an enjoyable story. – Kaetrin
The Fake Mate by Lana Ferguson
Narrated by Samantha Summers & Joe Arden
The blurb for this one sounded fun – a fake relationship involving werewolves who work in a hospital. I feel like I might want to dip my toe back into PNR with this one. – Kaetrin
Pinot & Pineapple Lumps by Jay Hogan
Narrated by Gary Furlong
Jay Hogan and Gary Furlong are always a winning combination! – Carrie
This is one of my favourite books in the Southern Lights series – a deeply emotiomal story about healing from trauma and fighting to be who you are combined with a sexy age-gap romance. Gary Furlong is sure to deliver a(nother) fantastic performance. – Caz
End of the Line by Nicky James
Narrated by Nick J. Russo
The first of a new-to-audio series by a favourite author with a great narrator. What’s not to love? – Carrie
I reviewed this one HERE – I liked, rather than loved this one, but the excellent performance from Nick J. Russo is more than worth the price of admission! – Caz
Matrimonial Merriment by Nicky James
Narrated by Nick J. Russo
The series that sold me on Nicky James. I can’t wait to see the guys get hitched. – Carrie
After everything they’ve been through during the year or so they’ve been together, Qyaid Valor and Aslan Doyle deserve the best when it comes to tying the knot… if only Quaid wasn’t tying homself in knots trying to plan the perfect wedding! This is the final Valor and Doyle book FOR NOW – the author assures us they’ll be back, and in the meantime, she has a new romantic suspense series starting very soon. Nick J. Russo’s narration has been a real highlight of this series. – Caz
Bonds of Blood by Nazri Noor
Narrated by Greg Boudreaux
Another finale for a favourite series; Locke is still reeling from the discoveries made at the end of the previous book, but there’s no time to take stock because the battle for the Wispwood is imminent! Nazri Noor’s winsome characters and inventive storylines have been very ably brought to life by Greg Boudreaux – I hope he and Mr. Noor are able to work together again. – Caz
Among the Heather by Samantha Young
Narrated by Shane East & Stella Hunter
I’ve found Samantha Young to be a fairly reliable read and Shane East is an excellent narrator. Stella Hunter is new to me but even so I’m confident I’ll enjoy the book. – Kaetrin
PLEASE NOTE: Where not available for pre-order, self-published audiobooks generally do not have purchase links available until the day of publication. The links given will take you to the Amazon book page, and you can purchase from there as soon as it is released.
The upcoming releases aren’t showing up for me. There are little squares, but no images. If I click on one, it does take me to a book on Amazon, though! I guess I can make it a game kinda like concentration–flip a card over and reveal what’s underneath! :-)
They’re showing up fine for me in Chrome and Edge – what browser are you using?
I’m using Chrome, but I did go back and check the Nov Picks post and I have the same problem now, which I didn’t before. Not sure what’s going on. I’ll call my IT guy (husband) and see what he thinks! :-)
Hmm. Sometimes it’s temporary, because there’s not enough bandwidth and it will fix itself.
