Bring Me Home by Annabeth AlbertBring Me Home by Annabeth Albert

Narrated by David Lee Garver & Lance West

Annabeth Albert is one of my go-to authors, and I enjoyed this sexy, tender, age-gap romance when I read it earlier this year.  I admit I’d hoped to see a familiar name in the narrator’s slot for this series, but I’m interested to try these two new-to-me performers. – Caz

A Nobleman's Guide to Seducing a Scoundrel by K.J. CharlesA Nobleman’s Guide to Seducing a Scoundrel by K.J. Charles

Narrated by Martyn Swain

I really enjoyed Martyn Swain’s narration of Book 1 in this series and K.J. Charles never disappoints – Carrie

I read this earlier this year and loved it!  It’s funny and clever and the romance is gorgeous. I enjoyed Martyn Swain’s performance in The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen, despite a few niggles, and I’m excited to experience it again in audio. – Caz

More KJ Charles goodness! – Kaetrin

A Night at the Tropicana by Chanel Cleeton

Narrated by Frankie Corzo

This one is technically an October release (10/1) and it’s a novella, but I’ve become such a lover of Chanel Cleeton’s Cuba-based historical romances that I’ve already added it to my wish list! – BJ

You’re My Beat by Zarah Detand

Narrated by Joel Leslie

I’m not familiar with this author, but I like the sound of this story about a struggling dance troupe and the rock star who steps in to save it.  Plus – Joel Leslie is narrating.  Nuff sed. – Caz

Disrupted Engagement by Nicky James

Narrated by Nick J. Russo

One of the best romantic suspense series out there, supported by a talented narrator – Carrie

What Carrie said!  Nicky James and Nick J. Russo are a fantastic author/narrator team! – Caz

Catch Her Death by Melinda Leigh

Narrated by Christina Traister

I’ve become a fan of this crime fiction series featuring Sheriff Bree Taggert and with book 7 coming out in September, I’m looking forward to the next installment! – BJ

Broadway Butchery by C.S. PoeBroadway Butchery by C.S. Poe

Narrated by Kale Williams

Fantastic series, great narrator. – Carrie

Another fantastic combination of clever, tightly plotted mystery and gorgeous slow-burn romance kicks off when Larkin is called to a most unusual murder scene.  Kale Williams is doing some of his very best work in these books and I have very high hopes for this one. – Caz

This series has been so good – I’m very keen to find out what’s next for Larkin and Doyle and Kale Williams is fantastic. – Kaetrin

Time to Shine by Rachel ReidTime to Shine by Rachel Reid

Narrated by Cooper North

Ms. Reid’s first since the popular Game Changers series and with Cooper North back as narrator, I can’t wait to listen! – Carrie

I admit that I was wondering if Rachel Reid could possibly maintain the quality of her Game Changers books, and if she would be able to write another hockey romance that didn’t feel same-y – and she does both spectacularly well in Time to Shine. I loved it in print and Cooper North is a favourite narrator – I can’t wait to listen! –  Caz

I’ve had the pleasure of reading an early copy of this one and it’s fantastic. I’m sure the audio will be too.  – Kaetrin

Payback in Death by JD Robb

Narrated by Susan Ericksen

Book 57 in the In Death series. I took a break for a while but I’m all caught up and I’m still on board. – Kaetrin

Icebreaker by Nicole RoseIce Breaker by Nicole Rose

Narrated by Hannah Altagracia & Stephen Borne

This novella looks fun – I haven’t listened to either narrator before or read the author but why not try something new? – Kaetrin

Assassin by Accident by E.J. RussellAssassin by Accident – EJ Russell

Narration by Greg Boudreaux

I’ve enjoyed several of the books in this multi-author series, and Greg Boudreaux is a definite plus! – Carrie

I’ve had my eye on this one as well – Greg Boudreaux’s name on the cover always draws my eye and I’ve enjoyed some of his other collaborations with this author, so I might give it a go. – Caz

Things We Left Behind by Lucy Score

Narrated by Lila Winters and Sebastian York

I’ve become a fan of Lucy Score’s romances and with Sebastian York also narrating, I’m looking forward to the Things We Left Behind this September! – BJ

Resurrection Reprise by Hailey Turner

Narrated by Gary Furlong

Hailey Turner returns to her Soulbound universe, shifting the action to the Pacific Northwest with a new central character, Spencer Bailey (who appeared previously in a secondary role) who is tasked with tracking down a stolen magical artifact.  I’m looking forward to getting stuck into what is bound to be a fast-paced, action-packed listen with a nice side of snark and steam – and with Gary Furlong back in the narrator’s chair, it’s sure to be a great listen. – Caz

  1. I’m very interested in hearing what you have to say about You’re My Best, Caz. I’ve loved listening to books by Nazri Norr. He has some great narrators, but the narrator for Hex in the City hasn’t been a favorite of mine in the past. I’ll listen to some sample, but I think this will probably be a print series for me.

I’m also unfamiliar with the narrators for Bring Me Home. I enjoyed this in print so this is another one I’ll have to listen to some samples on.

I haven’t listen to the Spellbound series yet, but I might jump in with Resurrection Reprise to see if I like the universe and the writing. I know I like the narrator!

    1. I’ve written a review for Hex and the City – the narration was a very mixed bag. He’s got a new series starting next year about the Iron College and I’m hoping he chooses a good narrator. Honestly, I’m of the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” school, so I certainly wouldn’t m ind spending more time with Zachary Johnson or Greg Boudreaux!

      1. I was afraid of that. Too bad. I’ve read the short story intro to the new series Noor shared in his newletter, A Matter of Life and Death. Have you read it? It was fun.

        1. Yes :) That was the “next series” I was referring to. I’m planning to review the Annabeth Albert so I’ll keep you posted!
