Happenstance by Tessa Bailey

Narrated by Heather Stonewall & James Cavenaugh

I usually enjoy Tessa Bailey books. This one has three heroes! – Kaetrin

Game Misconduct by Ari Baran

Narrated by Cooper North

This is the first in a new series of hockey/sports romances from (I believe) a début author; Cooper North is the main attraction for me, but I’m hoping I’ll enjoy the story, too! – Caz

The Worst Wedding Date by Pippa Grant

Narrated by Ryan West & Kit Swann

Destination wedding with a problematic best man in need of a bridesmaid baby-sitter. Tick. – Kaetrin

Reforged by Seth Haddon

Narrated by Gary Furlong

I had my eye on this one when it came out in print last year – a fantasy romance featuring a young king and his bodyguard as they fight traitors assassins and nefarious plots.  Sounds like my cup of tea and with Gary Furlong at the microphone, the narration is bound to be excellent, – Caz

Defying Logic by Nicky James

Narrated by Nick J. Russo

Another wonderful outing for detectives Valor and Doyle as Quaid faces one of his most complex cases yet and Doyle is still coming to terms with the events of the last book.  The character and relationship development across this entire series has been amazing, and that’s equally true here; the author has done an absolutely fantastic job of setting and maintaining an incredibly high quality of storytelling, and Nick J. Russo has delivered some of his best performances yet.  I loved this in print and am sure I’ll love the audio, too. – Caz

Love You More by Julia Kent

Narrated by Teddy Hamilton & Erin Mallon

The blurb amused and the narrators are good. I’m in. – Kaetrin

The True Love Experiment by Christina Lauren

Narrated by Cindy Kay & Jonathan Cole

I love a single dad story (I”m a sucker for it!) and Christina Lauren usually delivers for me so I have this on my list. – Kaetrin

Criminal Intentions: S1E8 – Collateral Damage & S1E9 –  A Single Bright Candle’s Flame by Cole McCade

Narrated by Curt Bonnem

I love this series! The mysteries are gritty and clever, and the two leads are wonderfully complex, damaged and endearing.  Curt Bonnem’s narrations so far have been brilliant, so I’m really looking forward to a double helping of CI this month! – Caz

Bear With Me Now by Katie Shepard

Narrated by Savannah Peachwood

This one caught my eye, mainly because the hero nearly gets eaten by a bear and is rescued by the heroine. I’m curious as to what’s next. – Kaetrin

Spare Me by Tara Sivec

Narrated by Kelsey Navarro & Tim Paige

Melinda has enjoyed other Sivec books and this pair are good narrators. It’s an odd couple story which appeals. – Kaetrin

Baggage Claim by Juliana Smith

Narrated by Shaina Summerville & Tyler Donne

I like a good fake relationship so I’m planning to try this one. – Kaetrin

  1. It’s not a romance, but I’m waiting for Martha Wells’ Witch King to come out so I can listen to a sample. The narrator is an actor, I think, and they’re surprisingly not always the best choice for narration so I have my fingers crossed.

    1. That’s very true – not all good actors are good voice actors. I know I’ve come across some for whom that’s true.

  2. I’m listening to the fourth Valor and Doyle at the moment. I had put it off for awhile but the narrator is excellent so I think I’ll buy the 5th so I can listen back to back.

    1. Such a consistently great series! I’ve always enjoyed Nick J. Russo’s work and I think he’s delivering some of his best performances here.
