  1. I finished The Gilded Scarab and really enjoyed it. Gary Furlong’s narration was wonderful. I just saw that the second book is going to be out on audio before Christmas. Right now I’m listening to Under a Dark Moon by Stella Riley, narrated by Alex Wyndham. I’ve read the book and enjoyed it and found this on sale very inexpensively at Audible a few months back. The Brandon Brothers series is entertaining, although not quite as good as her other books.

    1. I’m looking forward to the Butler, too. I’ve been binging LJ Hayward’s Death and the Devil audios, and decided to have a break with the Albert, which is a pleasant enough low-angst contemp. Not her best work, but it’s okay and the narration is good.
