Crowbones by Anne BishopCrowbones by Anne Bishop

Narrated by Alexandra Harris

Book three in The World of the Others, a spin-off of The Others series, releases this March.  I’ve really enjoyed this fantasy series and am looking forward to listening to more! – BJ

Shut Up and Kiss MeShut Up and Kiss Me by Lauren Blakelyby Lauren Blakely

Narrated by Julia Whelan & Jason Clarke

I haven’t listened to a Lauren Blakely book in a while but they’re usually at least a B for me and with this narrator pairing (especially Julia Whelan, who I don’t hear enough of) I can’t really go wrong. – Kaetrin

Agreed, Kaetrin – Julia Whelan is a delight. Jason Clarke is also very good, and I’m a fan of LB’s books, so I’m all in for this one! – Melinda

Shenanigans by Sarina BowenShenanigans by Sarina Bowen

Narrated by Jason Clarke & Vanessa Edwin

I binged all the Brooklyn Bruisers books last year and have been hanging out for this one! – Kaetrin

I’ve recently become a huge fan of Sarina Bowen’s romances. I am looking forward to her latest release in the Brooklyn Bruisers Series, a hockey sports romance series, which is releasing mid-March. – BJ

The Suite Spot by Trish DollerThe Suite Spot by Trish Doller

Narrated by Sarah Naughton

Loved this one in print and can’t wait for the audio. – Kaetrin

I put this one in my wish list based on the publisher’s blurb of a young single mom moving on a whim and rebuilding her life from the ground up. – Melinda

You Are Cordially Invited by Jay HoganYou Are Cordially Invited by Jay Hogan

Narrated by Gary Furlong

The fifth Auckland Med. book sees series favourites Cam and Reuben getting ready for their Big Day… although with the way things are going, they might not survive all the stress involved in actually making it to the altar.  Gary Furlong is doing fantastic work in this series, and will no doubt rise splendidly to the occasion! – Caz

Not What it Seems by Nicky JamesNot What it Seems by Nicky James

Narrated by Nick J. Russo

This romantic suspense title sounds twisty and angsty – and, in short, right up my alley!  Nick J. Russo is sure to do an excellent job – I can’t wait to get stuck into this one! – Caz

Mr. Wrong Number by Lynn PainterMr. Wrong Number by Lynn Painter

Narrated by Callie Dalton and Andrew Eiden

Full disclosure, this was a March 1 release so I’ve read it: OMG, so, so funny! And the pairing of two of my favorite romcom narrators! Sweet! – Melinda

His Haven by Con RileyHis Haven by Con Riley

Narrated by Cornell Collins

I loved His Haven when I read it last year – it’s a gorgeous, angsty opposites-attract romance between an uptight lawyer and an open-hearted gentle giant of a man that tugs at the heartstrings in the very best of ways.  – Caz

Things We Never Got Over by Lucy ScoreThings We Never Got Over by Lucy Score

Narrated by Lila Winters and Sebastian York

One of my recent new-found favorite romantic comedy authors and all-time favorite male narrators are teaming up this March, and I for one can’t wait to listen! – BJ

BJ turned me on to the author Lucy Score several months ago, and I’ve been glomming her backlist ever since! (Thanks, BJ!) Score’s got a quirky sense of humor that seems to channel Susan Elizabeth Phillips, who is one of my top faves, and you pretty much can’t go wrong when Sebastian York is narrating! – Melinda

The Love ConnectionThe Love Connection by Denise Williams by Denise Williams

Narrated by January LaVoy and Shane East

This one is in my wish list both for the narrators and for the cute dog on the cover! A pet groomer heroine and a secretive romance author-by-night hero sound like a fun journey in this novella-length March release. – Melinda

  1. I’m not sure about the Jay Hogan book. I may read it instead only because I deal with drama better in print than audio, and this one sounds like a lot of drama.
I look forward to hearing what you think of NOT WHAT IT SEEMS. I read a free short novella by this author and didn’t like the writing, but I might give her a second chance.

    1. I admit that You Are Cordially Invited is my least favourite Auckland Med book – I reviewed it in print at AAR if you want to find out more.

Nicky James is known for writing angst, but she has written a low-drama contemporary series – Hometown Jasper. I reviewed book one, Clashing Hearts HERE a while back – there’s a bit of family stuff, but nothing overwhelming.
I’m listening to Not What It Seems now – I like the premise although it’s taking its time getting going.

      1. I was just coming back to say I mixed up Jackie North and Nicky James. I’m not a fan of the one piece of writing I’ve readby Jackie North. I haven’t read anything by Nicky James. I actually have Clashing Hearts on my TBR list after reading your review.

I did go and read your review of You Are Cordially Invited. I’m on the fence right now. I didn’t enjoy Crossing the Touchline as much as you did (B- for story, I thought some parts were a slog with too much repetition), so I’m not sure I’ll read this.

        1. Oh, right :) I really enjoyed Jackie North’s Honey from the Lion (there’s a review around here somewhere – narrrated by Greg B.), although the ebook I reviewed (in a different series) was pretty weak. I’m hoping I just picked up a duff one and that whatever I pick up next might be better.

I liked the drama of Crossing the Touchline because it rang true, but in YACI I just felt like there was too much thrown at the guys for the sake of drama.
