  1. This week I listened to Sense of Place (Thomas Elkins 3) by N.R. Walker, narrated by Nick Russo. Loved it.
Also Up in Smoke by Annabeth Albert, narrated by Iggy Toma. Not my favorite Hotshots book, but I still really enjoyed it.
Next was Infamous by Jenny Holiday, narrated by Michael Fell. I really loved the story and the narration was decent. I saw the book here, and it was as good as touted. Fell does a pretty good job, but I agree his female voices are lacking. I honestly couldn’t believe it was Jenny Holiday. I’ve only read one other book by her, Mermaid Inn, which was fine but not this caliber.
Just a few minutes ago I finished Miss Wonderful by Loretta Chase, narrated expertly by Kate Reading. I rolled my eyes at the silliness of the last chapter which I didn’t feel fit the characters, but I still enjoyed it.

    1. Infamous is wonderful – I hadn’t read much Holiday before that one (I read a trilogy of historicals she wrote a few years ago, but not her contemps) so I didn’t have much to compare to, but I loved it.

I’m glad you enjoyed the Thomas Elkin books – I just adore NJR’s interpretations of Thomas and his “little shit” :)
