  1. I look forward to reading a review of the Featherbed audio. I enjoyed it in print. Nothing unique, but it was a sweet, low-angst story.

No audiobooks for me this week, and only a few books, period. I was sick for awhile (not covid) and everything made my head hurt. Getting better, but haven’t started a new book yet. I feel completely devoid of inspiration.

    1. Ugh, I hate it when I feel too ill to read. It doesn’t happen often, and this last year in lockdown has at least meant I haven’t had any colds for over 12 months! Audiobooks are my saviour then though.

Featherbed was sweet and the narration is good. Watch this space for a review! I hope you find your listening mojo again soon :)

      1. Thanks, Caz. I had an intestinal infection no one really knows how I got, but I’m on antibiotics and on the mend. I, too, have enjoyed a year with no colds!

I hadn’t been listening to many audiobooks for several years until lockdown. They have been a lifeline for sure this year. I decided last night to listen to an older Sandra Brown book, Mean Streak, since I’d read it but never listened to it. It’s narrated by Jonathan Davis. He’s good so far, but not Victor Slezak good. :-)
