I very much enjoyed Wicked Lies Boys Tell a few weeks ago, and the narration is absolutely wonderful. The love story felt very real and organic, even if parts of the book had flaws. Definitely worth a credit imo! Can’t wait for the review on that one! Tonight I’m listening to The Duke I Tempted by Scarlett Peckham. The narration by Holly Chandler is not the best, but I’m liking the book so far. I give the narration about 2.5 out of 5 stars.
I agree, the narration was stellar, but the story… We’ll have to agree to differ on that because I had problems with various aspects of it.
I didn’t enjoy the Peckham book in print (it was a very rare DNF) so haven’t picked up the audio.
I had issues with parts of it too, but I liked the central love story. Will you be reviewing this one?
