  1. I listened to Evvie Drake Starts Over this week, which I enjoyed a lot. It is a CR, and for those who want a little heat but no explicit sex scenes this is a good choice. Some passionate kissing and pillow talk, but no body parts or specific actions are described. It deals with dark stuff, but it’s very well written and has a lot of humor in it. Julia Whelan narrates. Overall 4 stars

  2. I am on the 3rd book in Lucinda Brant’s Roxton Family Saga series; Dair Devil: A Georgian Historical Romance. All of the books are read by the excellent Alex Wyndham. I should say performed because it feels like listening to a performance he is so good. These books are really feeding my historical romance addiction. They are beautifully written with much wit and charm and a lot of historical detail. I am so happy to see that there are many more for me to discover!

    1. I love discovering a long-running series that speaks to me. I just settle back for a nice, long binge! Enjoy your books, Jean.

    2. Alex is a terrific narrator – if you search our archives, you’ll find an interview I did with him a few years back. He also narrates Stella Riley’s books; one of my all time favourite romances is A Splendid Defiance, and we’ve reviewed a number of books by both authors here, so happy listening!

  3. Thanks, Caz. I will look for the interview!
I have listened to several of Stella Rileys’s books in the Rockliffe series and love them as well.
