  1. I am listening to Bond, the second book in the Forbidden Desires series, written by Piper Scott and Virginia Kelly. It is narrated/performed by the excellent Michael Ferraiuolo whom you wrote about in a previous review, Caz. I think he is great. These books are very humorous and he has a deft comedic touch with the story and the characters.

    1. I’ll have to check that out, Jean, thanks for the rec. And I listened to L.A. Witt’s The Husband Gambit last weekend; the story isn’t bad, but I was in narration heaven – Greg T. and Michael Ferraiuolo..? definitely Christmas in August!

  2. Omigosh, with those two narrators, I have already put the book on my wish list! Thanks!

    1. Come back and let me know what you think, Jean. It’s a cute story (fake relationship, which I like) with a serious undertone, but I enjoyed it. Also coming soon from the same author is Rebound with Nick J. Russo and Michael F. That’s a May/December romance between a star hockey player with an abusive BF and the older cop with baggage of his own who helps him to get out of it (the abusive relationship). I read the book a few months back and really liked it, so I’m looking forward to the audio.

  3. I’ll be sure to let you know how I feel about The Husband Gambit. Already it sounds interesting with the fake marriage between two men as apposed to a man and a woman. Like you, I will go a long way with a story if I love the narrator. I would be interested to know what you think about the Forbidden Desires series. I was drawn to it initially because I love para-normal romance with dragons. Then, I found I was delighted by the story and the characters and the narrator. Hope others will be too.
