  1. I really enjoyed The Flatshare when I listened to it a couple of weeks ago. It’s very imaginative, has lots of humor, but it also has a very realistic and rather dark story at its core. The writing is lovely and the narration was excellent. I cannot wait to listen to more work by Beth O’Leary! Tonight I’m listening to One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost, which I’m liking a lot, too.

    1. I don’t read or listen to many (m/f) contemps. but Kaetrin said The Flatshare is good and I’ve seen good reviews, so I’m planning to give it a try.

      1. Mild spoiler ahead! ***** I’m hoping someone here reviews it. It’s a little gem that needs as much buzz as it can get. It has a premise I’ve never seen before, and I read m/f contemps all the time. My only (minor) quibble is the epilogue; there were several threads that could have been tied up there and were not. But the main story was given a nice ending, so I was happy.
