I’m listening to What You Need by Lorelei James.
I was wondering about that title. I hope you are enjoying it Jonetta.
It was just okay. The narrators made the story better. The romance had some issues. Good start, though, in introducing the characters for the series.
Thanks Jonetta. Good to know. As an audiobook lover, I love hearing that a narration made a book better. Not sure I will find the time for this one, but, if I do, I will make sure to listen to it.
I’m currently listening to The BarKeep by William Lashner. Not normally my typical listen. I’m more of a cozy mystery or romance kind of gal, but sometimes I like to try something different. It’s turning out to be really good. Luke Daniels is phenomenal on his narration!
I have had the Consolation duet books in my TBR and would be interested to hear what BJ thinks of this first one.
Hi Susan, I generally enjoyed Consolation. Both the story and narration are solid, making it a good pick for an audiobook listen. However, it does end in a huge cliffhanger, so you’ll have to listen to both books to get the full story. I just added Book 2, Conviction to my TBL. Now to find the time: )
Thanks, BJ! I didn’t know about the cliffhanger, so I will get the 2nd book as I don’t like to be kept hanging! I agree finding the time is hard, I use audiobooks to motivate me to take a walk after work..
I also enjoyed your review of Wife Number Seven and added that one as well. It’s been a busy week for my TBR :)
Thank you again, your reviews as always spot on for me.
Susan
Thank you Susan for your kind words about my reviews. It’s always nice to know that they have been helpful to others: ) I hope you enjoy Wife Number Seven as well. It’s quite the unique listen!
