  1. I started the week off with the newly released audio of Noble Satyr by Lucinda Brant. This version is narrated by Mary Jane Wells, who does a masterful job.

Next was a relisten, The Mesalliance by Stella Riley, narrated by Alex Wyndham. I enjoy this story, but I also chose this to listen to because I owned it, and I wanted to listen to Alex Wyndham’s narration. He beautifully narrated the original release of Noble Satyr (which I don’t own but have listened to), and I wanted a sort of comparison of the narrating styles. I love both MJW and AW.

Right now I’m listening to Trusting Miss Trentham by Emily Larkin, narrated by Rosalyn Landor. Great narration and fine story, but I’m struggling to stay interested. It’s checked out of the library, so I need to persevere. I’ve enjoyed a couple of other books in this series, so it’s probably just me being in a mood.

    1. I like that Larkin series – it’s just a bit different and more historically accurate than many of the current batch of HR that don’t have any magic in them!
