We’ve got a mix of historicals, contemporaries, paranormals and women’s fiction; have a look at our picks and then tell us what YOU’RE looking forward to listening to in the comments.

The Wolf at the Door by Charlie Adhara

Narrated by Erik Bloomquist

Another favourite series comes to audio; an unlikely pairing rooted in distrust develops into something very different in this story of romantic suspense with a bit of the paranormal thrown in. I’m not familiar with Erik Bloomquist’s work, but fingers crossed he can deliver a performance that lives up to the excellent material. – Caz

A new-to-me narrator (who isn’t?!) reading a story I absolutely loved.  Straight to my TBL –  Em

Not Dead Yet by Jenn BurkeNot Dead Yet by Jenn Burke

Narrated by Greg Boudreaux

This wonderfully original series is one of my favourites of 2019 already, and this series opener is a cracking good story featuring two well-rounded principals, an intriguing mystery, and a slow-burn romance. I was excited when Jenn Burke announced on Twitter that the books had been picked up for audio, and even more so when I saw she’d won the narrator lottery and that Greg Boudreaux would be doing the honours at the microphone! – Caz

Excellent book, terrific narrator and a second book waiting in the wings for me to pick up as soon as this one is done.  A trifecta of happiness! – Em

I’ve read the ebook and I was so excited to see Greg Boudreaux was narrating the audio. Jenn Burke hit the narrator jackpot for sure. – Kaetrin

Someone to Honor by Mary Balogh

Narrated by Rosalyn Landor

Nobody does historical romance quite like either of these ladies. This sixth book in the Westcott series features Abigail, the younger daughter of the late (and bigamous) Earl of Riverdale, and her romance with her brother Harry’s friend and fellow officer, Gil Bennington.  Balogh and Landor make a wonderful team and I’m sure this will be yet another superb listening experience. – Caz

Abigail is finally about to get her HEA, and I’m super excited for it. Balogh’s writing and Landor’s narration are a perfect historical romance combination! – Shannon

The Resurrection of Lady Ramsleigh by Chastity BowlinThe Resurrection of Lady Ramsleigh by Chasity Bowlin

Narrated by Esther Wane

I’m feeling the historical love again lately so I was especially browsing for something like this. It looks good, the books have a high ranking at Goodreads and the narrator sample was promising. Wish me luck! – Kaetrin

Things You Save in a Fire by Katherine CenterThings You Save in a Fire by Katherine Center

Narrated by Therese Plumber

Heroines who excel ion male dominated professions always tend to grab my attention, and the blurb for this female firefighter story definitely did that. I’m not familiar with the author, but as I’ve enjoyed some narrations by Therese Plumber in the past, I’m ready to give this one a chance. – BJ

Protect the Prince by Jennifer EstepProtect the Prince by Jennifer Estep

Narrated by Lauren Fortgang

Everything Estep writes is golden, and this second installment in her Crown of Shards series promises to be more of the same. I’m a big fan of Lauren Fortgang’s narrations, so we’re pretty much guaranteed a great listening experience. – Shannon

Inferno by Rachel GrantInferno by Rachel Grant

Narrated by Greg Tremblay

The Flashpoint series is a terrific blend of romance, action, politics and suspense and I love it to bits. I’m so pleased to be able to revisit that world with this new novella featuring a couple of prominent secondary characters from the earlier books. Plus – more Greg can never be a bad thing!  – Caz

I’ve loved the previous books in the Flashpoint series and can’t wait to dive into the audio of this brand new novella. – Kaetrin

Breathe In, Cash Out by Madeleine HenryBreathe In, Cash Out by Madeline Henry

Narrated by Caitlin Davies

Another catchy blurb that caught my eye this month is Breathe In, Cash Out.  I love the idea of a heroine who is ready to walk away from the big fancy job to pursue happiness. This one also seems to have a bit of a comical tone which may work well as a summer/vacation listen. – BJ

Trashed by Mia HopkinsTrashed by Mia Hopkins

Narrated by Gomez Pugh

I have the first book in the series (Thirsty) on my TBR and I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about the follow up and Gomez Pugh has a great narrating reputation. – Kaetrin

All Grown Up by Vi KeelandAll Grown Up by Vi Keeland

Narrated by Sebastian York and Andi Arndt

I’m not sure an older woman/younger man romance is my thing, but I sure am a fan of Vi Keeland’s writing and Sebastian York’s and Andi Arndt’s narrations, so I’m looking forward to listening to this one. – BJ

All Roads Lead to You by Jennifer ProbstAll Roads Lead to You by Jennifer Probst

Narrated by Amy Landon and Stephen Graybill

I’ve enjoyed Jennifer Probst books in the past and the sample of Stephen Graybill’s work sounded good so count me in. I’m always on the lookout for new favourite narrators! – Kaetrin

Under Currents by Nora RobertsUnder Currents by Nora Roberts

Narrated by January Lavoy

I’ve been excited about this since I read the blurb way back in the beginning of the year. Nora Roberts’ stand alone titles are consistently fabulous, as are January Lavoy’s narrations. – Shannon

The Flight Girls by Noelle SalazarThe Flight Girls by Noelle Salazar

Narrated by Xe Sands

This historical novel focuses on female pilots during the second World War, and I can’t wait to sink into the story.  Xe Sands’ distinctive voice is one of my favorites, so seeing her listed as narrator is a definite plus! – Shannon

To Love a Dark Lord by Anne StuartTo Love a Dark Lord by Anne Stuart

Narrated by Tanya Patrick

Okay, I admit this is sort of a random pick – standalone, older novel from Ms. Stuart.  What can I say?  This summer I’ve been reading through all my favorite historical writers and when I saw the author had an upcoming audio release – and that I hadn’t read it – could be a disaster…or just what I’m in the mood for. – Em

Criminal Past by Gregory AsheCriminal Past by Gregory Ashe

Narrated by Tristan James

This sixth and final book in the Hazard and Somerset series promises to tie up its long -running storylines and will hopefully see our heroes finally getting their hard-won HEA. This is one of the best romantic mystery series of the last couple of years and while I’ve had some reservations about certain aspects of the narration, Tristan James has delivered solid, entertaining performances and I’m sure he’ll do the same here. – Caz

So those are our choices – what are YOU looking forward to listening to over the next few weeks?
