Currently Playing for the Gals, 22 December 2017

Well, here we are, almost at the end of 2017, and the final Currently Playing of the year.  Thanks to everyone out there who checks in to find out what we’re up to, and for joining in with our discussions – we always like to hear our readers’ opinions on what we’re listening to and on our reviews (because we’re nosy like that!) and are grateful for the pleasure of your company throughout the year.  No doubt we’ll all be able to find some listening time over the Christmas period – peeling a mountain of vegetables is less of a chore with a good book in one’s ears! – and we’ll be back in 2018 to talk about what we’ve been listening to and what releases we’re looking forward to in the New Year. Merry Christmas to one and all!

  1. I just saw a new Molly Harper listed on audible, How to Date Your Dragon, with a January 23rd release date and was excited until I noticed that two narrators are listed, Amanda Ronconi and Jonathan Davis. Now I’m apprehensive. I have finicky ears and I’ve never listened to a dual narration before. It’s hard enough to get a good sample of a book with a single narrator. I don’t see how it’s possible with two. I hope y’all are going to review this one.
