Woman listening

It’s that time of the week when the Gals share what we’ve been listening to during the week. We enjoy our cozy little chats (over long distances!) about what we’re loving and what isn’t working for us and ask for suggestions and ideas for future listens and anything else that takes our fancy! Here’s what we’re listening to this week.

  1. I’m currently listening to Twisted Palace by Erin Watts, after reading your review of Broken Prince, and binge listening the first two books in this series.

I am absolutely loving the narration by Zachary Webber! I think he is my new favourite male narrator, well, him and Jacob Morgan ????

    1. Hi Donna, I’m glad you’re enjoying the series. I needed a break after the last one, but I found myself wondering about Twisted Palace just the other day–so I may still listen to that one at some point. Also a fourth book, Fallen Heir, is being released in ebook format at the end of this month–Audible isn’t listing it yet, so I’m not sure if it will be available in audio though (at least not at the same time as the e-book release).

  2. I think that Twisted Palace was a much better story than Twisted Prince. More happened! Yes, I saw that Fallen Heir was due out in ebook. I will probably wait for the Audible though, especially if Zachary Webber is narrator again, lol

    1. Excellent news. Yes, that was what held me back from listening to book 3 right away: while I enjoyed book 1, book 2 felt like we were stuck in limbo for a good portion of the book. I imagine the twist at the end of Broken Prince likely introduces a whole new avenue for book 3 and that twist did intrigue me. Well, thanks for your comments Donna. I will definitely have to check out Twisted Palace: )
