Brilliance Audio has cleaned out the closets and swept under the bed to see all of Nora Roberts titles in audio format by the end of June 2015 including a lone story that had been left out of their anthology productions – 2004’s Wolf Moon
Last January we ran an article, Nora Roberts Audio in 2014, noting Brilliance’s interest in her backlist. They produced thirty Nora Roberts audiobooks last year and according to their website (in late December) we will enjoy forty-three new audiobooks in 2015! Of course, as soon as I noted all the upcoming titles, they disappeared from Brilliance’s website – but I did write it down and now it’s time to share. :) Starting with Courting Catherine
One odd thing I found within the backlist releases is Brilliance decision to produce the third book in The Stars of Mithra series first. Secret Star
For the newbies to Nora and her 34 year writing career, check out the original print release date to decide if you’re up to a blast from romance writing past. Though few do it better than Nora – note her development as a writer with her three generation Irish stories. Her first release – Irish Thoroughbred
Just as with her current releases, not every story will be a winner but there are plenty of runners-up that will give listening enjoyment. Pick your favorite narrator or pick your favorite “family saga” or 
a title that tickles your fancy to get started.

I, for one, was extremely disappointed to find that Nora’s printable backlist of books in chronological order is now gone from her website. I’ve put together my own chronological lists starting with her series romance backlist and anthologies. Soon to follow will be Nora’s romantic suspense novels, her trilogies / quartets and lastly her In Death series written as J.D. Robb all by year published. Plus, for those like me who want to know which series romance backlist titles are related, I’ve added a listing of family related and loosely related titles. All coming soon.

Scroll through each page to see the audio titles with year published or search for a favorite title to see when it came or will be coming out. Narrator names haven’t been announced for many titles but Kate Rudd is up for five with The Calhoun Women and Angela Dawe is taking on eleven MacGregor family tales – I can hear Daniel’s accent already…

Melinda understands the “how to” of coding as if she’s a magician – and she’s an excellent teacher! The spreadsheets (this one and those coming) are definite works of love – a love of chronological order! :D

So very exciting, but I have to say I am VERY disappointed that they are using Angela Dawe. Some of those books like the MacGregors are old favorites….bad choice of a narrator IMHO.
Although I am a big Angela Dawe fan I can totally understand your feelings Mel – if Rosalyn Landor were the narrator for more of my favorite titles I’d be crushed! Ms Landor has mad narrative skills and I’ve rarely heard better female characterizations but her males (stuffy, grumpy and worst of all OLD sounding) leave me cold. Thus I’m very disappointed when I see her narrating my favorite authors. To be fair Ms Landor totally rocked the male lead (and everything else) in Courtney Milan’s The Governess Affair

You’re right Lee – all the rest of Nora coming in audio in 2015? Brilliance Audio knows their romance business. Now we need them to take a look at our Wish List titles so they can release more favorites… :D
