Currently Playing for the Gals – January 23, 2015

Woman listeningOne of my annual New Year’s Resolutions is always the same – no, not lose weight: it’s the resolution to keep better track of my audiobook listening! Enter all of them into a database, keep track of what’s in my queue, and remember to rate the ones I’ve listened to – every year I promise myself I’ll do a better job. So how is my progress? Let’s just say, I finished a book this week and went to write my review, only to learn I’d already listened to it AND written a review!

So – how are you doing with YOUR New Year’s resolutions?

    1. I keep saying Captives is next but keep getting diverted – but that one is next! Except, I kinda want to re-listen to LORD OF SCOUNDRELS in honor of its 20th anniversary…. I guess I should do Captives first!

    2. Loved this book, as well as The Lion’s Daughter. And of course Lord of Scoundrels. I cannot wait for The Last Hellion.

  1. I don’t usually read/listen to YA books but Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell was fantastic! Not only was the story great but having a male and a female narrator enhanced the audiobook. I thought the English teacher sounded like George Takei :)
