Introducing AudioGals Reviewer Shannon

DarkfeverWelcome to Shannon – our newest reviewer! Shannon is a long time listener and we are excited to have her join us at AudioGals. We have a page dedicated to her under Gal Friends – Our Fellow Reviewers – complete with her bio and a few of her favorites. If you find her audiobook tastes match your own, you’ll want to keep to keep an eye on her Reviewer’s page as it will contain a full list of her AudioGals reviews. Her first review, Julianne MacLean’s The Color of Heaven  is below. Now for a more thorough introduction…

Shannon is 33, lives in Michigan, and shares her home with her life partner, two dogs, and one very feisty feline. She loves music, animals, and, of course, reading. Books have been a huge part of her life since she was a really young child.

Shannon enjoys a variety of genres, with historical, urban fantasy, and paranormal romance topping the list. Some of her favorite books include anything by Yasmine Galenorn (especially if Cassandra Campbell narrates), Karen Marie Moning’s Fever series, Catherine Anderson’s Annie’s Song, Julie Garwood’s Heartbreaker, Margaret Mitchell’s Gone with the Wind, Colleen McCullough’s The Thorn Birds, Cassandra King’s The Sunday Wife, Diane Chamberlain’s Necessary Lies, and Philippa Gregory’s Kingmaker’s Daughter.

Cassandra Campbell is her favorite narrator with Ann Marie Lee and Angela Dawe rounding out the top three.

    1. Thank you so much for taking the time to write. The synopsis of your book caught my attention right away, and I knew I had to have it. (Smile) Now, I need to backtrack and read the rest of your work, as Heaven was my first.

  2. Welcome, Shannon! I’m so glad you’ve joined the group! I look forward to reading your reviews.

  3. Welcome to AudioGals Shannon! What a fine group of women you are working with here. I , too, loved Diane Chamberlain’s Necessary Lies. Did you see that she also has a short e-book that’s a prequel to the book? It’s called The First Lie. It adds some more dimension to the characters’ backstories.

I love Cassandra Campbell’s work as well – she is a great talent and a good friend, too!

Looking forward to reading more of your reviews in the future!

  4. I did not know about The First Lie. Thank you for letting me know. I’ll have to track it down.
