Hero: alpha, beta, gamma. Let’s go with GAMMA.
Heroine: kickass, sorta sweet, private, assertive, optimistic, pessimist, happy-go-lucky, serious. How about SORTA SWEET?
Occupation: law enforcement, military, business executive, carpenter, medical, designer, athlete, performer, lawyer, shop owner, food industry, Lord or Lady, spy, governess, mistress. He’s an ATHLETE and she’s a LAWYER.
Income level: barely making it, wealthy, enough to be happy but not rich, billionaire, earning a living with a nest egg. I’m making him a professional athlete so he’s WEALTHY. She has ENOUGH TO BE HAPPY.
Romance sub-genre: contemporary, paranormal, fantasy, suspense, historical, new adult. CONTEMPORARY
Steam level: none, mild, hot, really hot. HOT
Location: THE SOUTH
Conflict – external or internal. INTERNAL
Secondary characters: few, none, or many. FEW
Now, for the entry we just built:
Gamma hero who is a professional athlete, sorta sweet heroine who is a lawyer, he’s wealthy – she has enough to be happy, set in the South, hot love scenes, internal conflict, few secondary characters.
ADD A FEW FAVORITE NARRATORS AND 3-5 OF YOUR FAVORITE ROMANCE LISTENS.
Add all the elements you want – these are just a few you might want to include.
