I am taking a little break from my beloved romance genre. I am listening to CRASH AND BURN by Lisa Gardner. Definitely one of my favorite authors. I love her books because you never know what is going to happen next. This book seems to be no exception.
I just finished Jeaniene Frost’s Bound by Flames and although I enjoyed it just as I have the Night Huntress series and the previous two entries to the Night Prince series, this one didn’t hit the “loved it” category for me. Although the romance remained satisfying, the story was just too harsh with too much pain (you will understand if you listen – don’t want a spoiler). Is it the same in that manner as the first two in this series and I have just wimped out since the last one? Or is it, in fact, pushing the envelope in the pain category?
Am finishing up Carnal Gift by Pamela Clare and now want to listen to Sweet Release. Love these books!
