It’s Time to Vote for Best 2013 Romance Audiobook

It’s time to cast your vote for AudioGals Best 2013 Romance Audiobook. We recently asked you to nominate up to five romance audios that you thought deserved this best audio award from everyday listeners.

We’re giving you the option of voting for three of our finalists in ranking order (only one vote is required – you may vote for two or three). The first spot gets your number one vote with the second and third ranked accordingly. Our vote ends midnight Tuesday, May 27th. 1. I am so excited- I have actually listened to three of these- I am usually a couple of years behind the curve.

  2. Two of my all time favorite narrators are nominated. There are no wrong choices here!

  3. Honestly, the Laura Kinsale/Nicholas Boulton releases could have taken all 6 of the finalist spots. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a better narrator/author pairing. Absolutely fabulous.

    1. I hear you Christy! I had such a hard time nominating the best audiobooks because I wanted to nominate all of them! But I decided other authors/narrators should have their chance as well and ended up nominating only two of Laura Kinsale’s backlist. Hope FftS wins though. It’s perfection, pure and simple.

    2. Not hard for me……Laura Kinsale and Nicholas Boulton hands down….

  4. I Love Karen White, Sebastian York and Kaleo Griffith, so I’m glad I got to vote for all three! And Kudos to Kaleo for 2 noms!

  5. I hear you! We have such an excellent list of finalists – just missing something with a paranormal element. However, we are publishing the Honorable Mentions tomorrow and there are a number of paranormal/fantasy types there.

But I was thrilled when I tallied the nominations and saw our six finalists. And, although we have a number voting for just one of the finalists, more are voting for three which means they have listened to at least three. Excited to see the results!

  6. Respectfully to all the magnificent narrators, I believe Nicholas Boulton did AN OUTSTANDING WORK in Flowers from the Storm! I really don’t know if I would have loved the book if I had only read it!
His adopting the hero’s struggle to speak, his stammering was…. I cried! He has already become a favourite narrator and I have already bought and will buy all his other audiobooks! :)

    1. You’ve definitely made me interested in getting this one! I haven’t heard this narrator before but I will look for him, thanks!

  7. oh good! One here I haven’t listened to!! I am so excited (Tangled)! I agree with the comments here, though – when oh when is Nicholas Boulton going to do another book???

  8. I love listening to both Nicholas Boulton and Kaleo Griffith narrate but I have never been so awestruck by a narration as I was by the job Nicholas Boulton did with Flowers from the Storm. It is my all time favorite.

  9. Tough, tough decision. Two of my all time favourite authors paired with two of my all time favourite narrators–Pamela/ Kaleo and Laura/Nicholas. Too bad there cannot be two winners. But, I am with Regina on this one, Flowers from the Storm is an absolutely first class
    accomplishment.
