It’s Audie time and that means the Audiobook Publishers Association is gearing up for the Audie Awards on May 30th. Out of the 140 finalists, only 8 are categorized as romance. Although we do consider the Audie Finalists in Romance this year the best we have seen to date, we still aren’t convinced the finalist titles represent those that romance listeners would consider the best of the best. So we think this is the perfect time to conduct a sort of “people’s choice” award for Best Romance Audio of 2012.
What 2012 romance audiobooks do you think worthy of the Best Romance Audio award? We are asking you to nominate up to five of your best 2012 romance listens. The five books that receive the most nominations will be our finalists for our Best Romance Audio of 2012. We’ll then ask for a vote from those final five.
We’ll keep the nominations open until midnight (CST) Monday, May 1st.

Is the 2012 date the date of the audio release, or the book, which is sometimes different. ;-) Thanks!

This was super hard since 4 of the I-Team series were released last year! I restricted myself to just 1. Also, many of the Maya Banks Highlander books were competing for my attention. Interesting to see what the top 5 will be. :)
I know what you mean Vic – several authors had full series released in 2012 which splits the votes.
We’ll have to think about our top authors (and narrators for that matter) of 2012 won’t we. :)
