Carrie has been listening to audiobooks on an occasional basis for years, but during the last three years, listening to audiobooks has become an on-going passion. It started when Audible began listing audiobooks by Georgette Heyer. By the time Carrie had listened to all of Audible’s Heyer offerings, she was hooked on audiobooks. When it comes to listening, Carrie doesn’t have a favorite romance genre – her audiobook choices depend as much on the narrator as author or genre. Her favorite romance audiobooks include Envy by Sandra Brown (Victor Slezak), Natural Born Charmer by Susan Elizabeth Phillips (Anna Fields), Carnal Innocence by Nora Roberts (Tom Stechschulte), and anything by Georgette Heyer,
Carrie started writing reviews on Goodreads as a way to remember the books she had read. That developed into a hobby she has enjoyed over the last few years and in 2012, she started reviewing for Speaking of Audiobooks at All About Romance. She spends her non-reading time taking care of a husband, a house, 5 pets, homeschooling the last of her five children, and tutoring part time.
